WEBJun 23, 2022 · It pushes piles much quicker than 800 and blows out maze like shrub gardens easily. The BR800 don’t put out much more air than my old Shin EB854. RedMax ruled the blower wars for about 15 yrs with Stihl a distant 4th. Past 5 yrs or so it’s all Echo with Stihl moving up to second.

I have gotten so used to the stiff flex pipe on my 8010 though, that I may not bother with the 800. The 8010 is unreal in blowing force.

It makes a weird clicking noise when the spring winds up enough to turn the 4mix engine over. Kinda like something is loose or the engine is moving in the housing.
