WEBJul 8, 2022 · Now, if you want a "gaming" mouse, that's different. I bought a Motospeed ck62 keyboard and it seems to work well enough. I've only used it for stuff in the desktop mode of the Deck since the onscreen keyboard is trash, but do plan to game with it while traveling. It's a fairly compact decent mechanical keyboard.

WEBApr 12, 2023 · Really wish the steam deck keyboard had f1-f12. Because sometimes i want to use those, but not assign a whole button to it. You could make one of the back paddles the ctrl key. You do that if you change what the paddles do in the desktop controller settings. Map it to a button in the control Config if you need it for multiple things.

Win+Ctrl+o should open the onscreen keyboard. you can set that to x on the chord layout so steam + x will bring up the keyboard. Also there’s a mod to change to the better touch keyboard.
