WEBSep 6, 2024 · Liked 6 Times in 4 Posts. Creaking Noise After Adding Stem Riser. I had a bike shop add a Delta Stem Raiser since the cables needed to be lengthened also. Since then I notice quite a bit of creaking in the front when riding. I brought it back and they tightened some of the bolts on the handlebar and stem, but the noise persists.

WEBSep 9, 2024 · Liked 1 Time in 1 Post. Who supplies 50mm stems for 1 1/4" steerer? I just purchased a new Grizl 7 from Canyon. It came with a 70mm riser and I want a 50mm to get a better form fit. Canyon puts 1 1/4" steering tubes in the Grizl. I asked them if they would let me exchange the 70mm for a 50mm and they refused to accomodate me.

It seems most road bikes these days come with a 7 degree stem and several spacers for quite a bit of adjustment depending on the riders flexibility.

Their wheels and drivetrain components are very similar, though one may be Shimano and the other SRAM. Your frame, fork, headset, stem, h-bar and seatpost are very different from the 7.1 and not interchangeable.

WEBAt just under 300 miles on the bike, still great. Even after getting hit by a car. Added the adjustable riser stem and it is a totally different bike, way more comfortable and it doesn't interfere with the folding. A new set of tires are in order soon, going to go with Kenda Kwest. Can't recommend the bike more.
