Get the name right for the composition of Wet and Forget and you have basically the same stuff .... benzalkonium chloride. Also in Polycell 3 in 1 and numerous other products.

This gives a nice clean, smooth hull for the paint. Its a messy job and quite labor intensive so I want to come up with something that could be quicker.

It would seem to be about 15 times the cost of Patio Magic at the price I paid, probably only 10 times at normal prices. I've just checked Homebase and they sell Patio Magic at £22 for 5 litre or £25 for 10 litres.

WEBFeb 28, 2021 · Best bet is to apply a coat in the same way that you would a coat of gloss paint. De-grease then lightly sand before applying subsequent coats. When you get the last coat on and sanded to remove brush marks, sand with very fine wet and dry, down to 1000 grit, then polish with compound and finally wax it.

WEBNov 29, 2015 · Bear in mind that the Co32 is a 1971 design, and by 1979 the same designer drew the Sadler 32, which was specifically intended to be a better boat, and stretched and tweaked in the early 1980s into the Sadler 34. The Contessa is prettier, personally I believe the Sadlers are overall better.
