The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) has accused Israel of “ starving civilians ”, including a million children in Gaza, by blocking vital food and medicine deliveries into the besieged enclave.

The shelling of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza also damaged the church compound, where hundreds of Palestinians have been sheltering.

The direct strike killed three people as confirmed by the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem hours after the attack.
