Former pacer Mitchell Johnson wants Australia to drop Marnus Labuschagne from their playing XI for the upcoming day-night Test against India, which begins on December 6 in Adelaide.

The former Aussie quick argues that it may be good for the side's No. 3 batsman to get some game time in domestic cricket and regain his form.

Labuschagne, who is Australia's leading run scorer in World Test Championship history, has only managed to score one half-century in his last 10 Test innings.

Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne got out for just two (52 balls) in the first innings and a five-ball three in the second essay during the Perth Test. The top four batters failed to fire in both innings and Australia paid the price with a heavy 295-run defeat.
