Following the St. Louis Battlehawks' separation from their star quarterback A.J. McCarron, head coach Anthony Becht has spoken out about his former quarterback's dissatisfaction with the departure.

There appears to be bad blood between the St. Louis Battlehawks and former standout Quarterback A.J. McCarron following the QB’s release from the team on Friday. During an appearance on the McCready and Siskey Podcast on Monday,

"A.J. McCarron has been a tremendous part of the success of our team the last two seasons," Head Coach Anthony Becht said in part.

While he was bothered by how the Battlehawks handled it, “I absolutely love the city of St. Louis,” the quarterback said.
