Buc-ee's is taking legal action against a Missouri liquor store, claiming the business shares some similarities with the Texas rest stop. In a lawsuit filed in federal court in Kansas City, Buc-ee's alleged a Missouri liquor store known as Duckees infringed on its intellectual property.

“Duckees’ unauthorized use of the DUCKEES’ Word Trademark and DUCKEES’ Logo, which are confusingly similar to the BUC-EE’S Trademarks, will allow Duckees to receive the benefit of the goodwill built up at the great labor and expense by Buc-ee’s,” the lawsuit said.
