I went to Guaranteed Rate Field Sunday to watch the Chicago White Sox, who at the time had just 34 wins. To put that into context, the New York Yankees (who secured a ticket to the postseason Wednesday) already had about that many wins back in mid-May when they played the Sox.

White Sox fans have had enough. They were up to here with last season’s 101 losses and with the 2024 team reaching depths never seen before in the history of the game, their sinking feeling is undeniable.

The Chicago White Sox have lost a staggering 117 games this season, which has to be absolutely crushing for everyone in the organization. That includes the social media team, which seems to have run out of ways to share with fans that the White Sox have lost yet another game.
