Carolina Prime Pet, Inc. recalled 400 16-ounce bags "Hollywood Feed Carolina Made Chicken Chips,” the company announced last week. This poses a risk to both the dogs who eat them and their owners.

Two different brands of dog treats have been recalled in the past few days due to potential contamination with Salmonella. Carolina Prime Pet, Inc. of Lenoir, North Carolina, and Gaines Pet Treats LLC of Birmingham, Alabama, are voluntarily recalling the dog treats in question.
