Search and rescue efforts intensified on Monday in the hopes of finding 7-year-old Hunter Slezak. Reportedly, the state helicopter hovered above Dauphin Island while boats and sonar were used to scan the waters below.

MOBILE, Ala. ( WALA /Gray News) - The Coast Guard suspended its search for a 7-year-old boy who went missing after a boating accident in Alabama. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Flotilla however has continued searching for Hunter Slezak. Sheriff Paul Burch said deputies are using boats, ATVs and horses to find the boy.

The U.S. Coast Guard "indefinitely suspended" its search for 7-year-old Hunter Slezak who went missing days ago on a boating trip with his father and a family friend under still unclear circumstances.
