David Meneou, 65, of Lockport, lived to care for his 20-year-old son, who had developmental disabilities. Both died after being pulled from Lake Michigan this past weekend.

The victims were identified as 65-year-old David Meneou, of Joliet, Illinois, and 20-year-old Jameson Meneou, of Lockport, Illinois.

A good Samaritan pulled David Meneou, 65, of Joliet, and his son, Jameson Meneou, 20, of Lockport, from the water before first responders arrived. The victims were then transported to a local hospital where they died.
