Apple reported its latest quarterly earnings results Thursday, revealing all-time record-breaking sales for its October-December 2024 period.

Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says tech company Apple posted a “record revenue” of $124.3 billion for its fiscal first quarter.

Revenue for the period inched up 4%, to $124.3 billion, also surpassing the Street’s target of $124.12 billion. They were strong numbers and they helped Apple to deliver an overall net profit in the quarter of $36.

It appears that the league's efforts are paying dividends, as the NFL has announced that the 2024 preseason included the fewest number of concussions for a full preseason since tracking began in 2015.

NFL players suffered the fewest concussions in a season in 2024 since the league began tracking data nine years ago.

NASA astronauts Sunita "Suni" Williams and Barry "Butch" Wilmore have been on the International Space Station since June, even though they initially expected to stay for just eight days. They'll be back on Earth in late March.

During a five-and-a-half hour spacewalk with her colleague Butch Wilmore, Sunita Williams surpassed former astronaut Peggy Whitson's total spacewalking time of 60 hours and 21 minutes.
