A large part of South Carolina's success this season was because of transfers like linebacker Demetrius Knight, edge rusher Kyle Kennard, wide receivers Dalevon Campbell and Jared Brown and running back Rocket Sanders. Here are the latest transfer portal updates for South Carolina football:

South Carolina wide receiver Tyshawn Russell plans on entering the transfer portal, he announced via social media on Tuesday afternoon. The Pennsylvania native committed to South Carolina as a three-star prospect in the Class of 2023 but has played sparingly over the past two seasons.

This season, though, after South Carolina brought in four running backs — freshman Matthew Fuller as well as three transfers: Rocket Sanders (Arkansas), Oscar Adaway III (North Texas) and Jawarn Howell (SC State). Braswell fell down the depth chart. The sophomore did not record a stat in 2024.
