A furniture and appliance store is closing all of its locations across the United States, including four in Colorado. Closing sales began last week.

A large furniture chain announced the closure of all of its locations nationwide earlier this month, including four in Louisiana. Hilco Consumer-Retail, the parent company of American Freight, announced recently that it would close all 328 stores in the United States.

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The closure of 328 American Freight stores is underway, including the one location in Western New York. The American Freight location at 778 Niagara Falls Boulevard in North Tonawanda has started the closing process.

( WDTN) — A furniture company with about a dozen locations in Northeast Ohio is closing all of its stores. According to documents filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware, American Freight will close all locations following a move by parent company, Franchise Group, to file bankruptcy protection.

Franchise Group, which owns American Freight, announced it is filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will be shuttering all of the furniture store's 328 locations.

The Tacoma location of American Freight will close along with the other 327 stores in the United States. The parent company of the nationwide appliance and furniture store, Franchise Group, began Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in federal court in Delaware.
