Philadelphia's head coach provided the update everyone's been waiting for regarding the QB's status for the NFL's Super Wild-Card Weekend.

There is a significantly different vibe in the Philadelphia Eagles locker room compared to this time last season. The confidence is strong among the players heading into the postseason, something that was missing as Philadelphia limped into the playoffs a year ago.

"Our confidence is stemmed from the work we put in in practice," Eagles linebacker Nakobe Dean said. "You see Sirianni, he had us in a padded practice for the playoffs and everybody embraced it. That's our confidence level."

The Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2024 season as the No. 2 seed in the NFC with a 14-3 record. Philly clinched the NFC East title with their win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 17, the organization's second division title and fourth consecutive playoff appearance since Nick Sirianni took over as head coach in 2021.

One of the winningest coaches in the NFL since he entered the league, Sirianni wears his heart on his sleeve, even when some fans want him to chill the heck out. And for the most part, his players have bought into that ethos.
