Bhagam Bhag 2 —- starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda and Paresh Rawal — is set to go on floors next year, makers Roaring River Productions announced on Instagram, sharing a report by a media outlet on Friday.

After rumours about the sequel, the second instalment of Bhagam Bhag is officially greenlit, and it will be led by the OG trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Govinda.

We recently reported that superstar Akshay Kumar was in the process of acquiring the rights to his 2006 comedy thriller Bhagam Bhag, which also featured Paresh Rawal and Govinda in key roles. The news has now been confirmed— a sequel to the Priyadarshan-directed film is officially in the works.

India Today has mentioned in its report that the rights for the sequel were recently acquired from Shemaroo Entertainment.
