The “Star Trek Universe” panel at New York Comic Con unveiled the "Section 31" release date and first looks at “Strange New Worlds” Season 3 and "Lower Decks” Season 5.

When we last left the Enterprise crew at the end of season two, things looked decidedly less strange and new, as the ship fell awry of a group of Gorn invading a Federation colony world, who had already done a number on the USS Cayuga,

The actual answer will have to wait, although for how long, we don't know. No release date for season three has been given yet except "2025". We do know that production on the third season, which began in December 2023, was completed in May 2024. By April, Strange New Worlds had been renewed for a fourth season.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is based on the years Captain Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. It follows Pike, Science Officer Spock (Peck), Number One ( Rebecca Romijn ), and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the starship, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.

Strange New Worlds Season 3 picks up where last season's action left off; Rhys Darby is confirmed as a guest star.
