The University of Florida received a formal Title IX complaint on Golden Sept. 27 alleging that he engaged in various conduct that potentially violated the UF Gender Equity Policy.

Todd Golden made his first public appearance on Monday night, four days after allegations surfaced accusing the University of Florida head basketball coach of sexual harassment, exploitation and stalking involving multiple female students.

The formal Title IX complaint against Todd Golden includes allegations of sexual exploitation, sexual harassment and stalking. The complaint alleges that for over a year, Golden specifically aimed these behaviors toward UF students.

In the preseason rankings, the Orange and Blue came in at No. 21 ahead of head coach Todd Golden’s third year at the helm. Following the first week of NCAA men’s basketball action, Florida moved up to No. 19 overall. That puts the Gators between the No. 18 Kentucky Wildcats and No. 20 Illinois Illini after two games.

With Florida basketball coach Todd Golden facing sexual allegations from multiple women and not issuing denial, the UF administration is left to navigate a PR mess.
