Vanderbilt football is ranked for the first time in more than a decade.

College football had some insane matchups in Week 8 that won't soon be forgotten. Another No. 1 team fell, students proved that you could trash an endzone to get calls overturned and some first-round graded quarterbacks showed they might be better off coming back to school for another year.

Texas currently owns a losing record against just six schools that it has played at least five times. One of those schools is Vanderbilt.
