Starting on Opening Day 2025, members of the Detroit Tigers' Home Plate Club will be able to sit in new “cutting-edge seats.”

The Home Plate Club will replace the 490 seats that span the lower bowl from dugout to dugout with 350 new premium padded seats. Below the stands, the Tigers are building out a luxury club, making for an all-inclusive fan experience. The club will open during the 2025 season.
Tigers add ‘climate-controlled’ seats to Comerica Park’s new VIP section
According to Ilitch Sports & Entertainment, the seats were custom designed by a Spanish company and use climate cooling technology developed in Traverse City to heat or cool seats, using a “marine-grade vinyl” to reduce UV absorption and keep the seat cooler under the sun.
