New claims have emerged after a truck driver who tried to help Diogo Jota and his brother disputed the initial police report on what may have caused the accident.

Liverpool FC player Diogo Jota and his brother died in a car accident in Spain in what the Premier League-winning club is calling an "unimaginable loss."

The investigation into the accident that tragically ended the lives of Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva has presented its first conclusions, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

Rute Cardoso was emotional while helping pallbearers Saturday, appearing to cry and lowering her head while they carried the ex-Liverpool standout’s coffin after the mass for Jota and his younger brother, Andre Silva, who also perished in the wreck that occurred just after midnight Thursday in Spain.
