The Gulf Coast, which is still cleaning up from Hurricane Helene, could see life-threatening storm surge, flooding, damaging winds, and torrential rain. In Central Florida, damaging winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding are all possible.

Tropical Storm Milton is getting stronger and still expected to rapidly strengthen into a hurricane, and potentially into a major hurricane, as it treks toward Florida, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Florida's Gulf Coast has already been devastated by two hurricanes this season and it seems all but certain a Milton is coming.
