Joel Dahmen is in danger of losing his PGA Tour card after he was penalized four shots at the Shriners Children’s Open on Thursday for having too many clubs in his bag.

Joel Dahmen sits 131st out of 132 players after the first day of the Shriners Children's Open in Las Vegas on Thursday, but not all of the struggles were due to his play at TPC Summerlin.

During the first round of the 2024 Shriners Children’s Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, fan-favorite Joel Dahmen was assessed a four-stroke penalty for having 15 clubs in his bag. Dahmen made par on his opening two holes, but those scores were changed to double-bogey 6s after the blunder.
