Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Julie Bowen, who play siblings on "Modern Family," both rushed their kids to the emergency room on Thanksgiving.

Ferguson, 49, for his part, posted a picture on Friday, November 29, of his son lying on his chest in a hospital bed. The Emmy-nominated actor shares two sons with husband Justin Mikita: Beckett Mercer, 4, and Sullivan 'Sully' Louis, 2.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Julie Bowen both spent Thanksgiving night in the emergency room with their children. The two Modern Family alums, who starred as siblings Claire Dunphy and Mitchell Pritchett on the show, never ran into each other but shared the same unfortunate end to their respective holiday celebrations.
