Star Trek: Section 31 will premiere as a direct-to-streaming movie on January 24th on Paramount Plus, which revealed the date during a Trek panel at the New York Comic Con. Fans will finally see Michelle Yeoh’s Star Trek: Discovery character, Emperor Philippa Georgiou, put her Mirrorverse skills to use as a super secret space spy.

Section 31 feature film now has an official premiere date. Per StarTrek.com, the movie will make its debut on January 24, 2025, exclusively on Paramount+. The announcement was made at New York Comi-Con,

Section 31 will tell the origin of how Philippa Georgiou became Emperor in the Mirror Universe, something Star Trek hasn't done before.

As revealed at the Star Trek Universe panel at New York Comic-Con, 2024, Section 31 will stream on Paramount+ on January 24, 2025. This will be the first time a Star Trek film has been specifically created for a streaming platform. As of this writing, there are no plans for Section 31 to lead into an ongoing series.
