Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday he’s “doing everything” he can to try to pass legislation that would enact some Social Security reforms before Congress ushers in a new class next month.

President-elect Donald Trump will ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, a source familiar with his plans told USA TODAY.

Before Trump rang the opening bell, a first for the native New Yorker, he spoke at the exchange and called it “a tremendous honor.”
