Having saved Emmy (Megan Best) from being killed, Lucy, Summer and physics genius Quinn (Griffin Gluck) come up with a plan to get rid of the killer and fix the time machine for Lucy to go back to her time.
Let's break down the time-warped ending of Time Cut
As Lucy points out in the film, Future Quinn's time travel murder spree resulted in the creation of her timeline. Future Quinn unknowingly made Lucy come into existence which, in turn, created another timeline (the main timeline) when Lucy traveled back in time. This, of course, ultimately leads to Sweetly Slasher's demise.
‘Time Cut’ Review (Netflix)
Overall, Time Cut is a collection of wasted ideas and potential, and unless you really want to hear Avril Lavigne sing “Complicated” it wastes its 2003 setting as well. Time Cut may have actually done it first, but Totally Killer is still a cut above it.
