Tesla said on Wednesday it was recalling 2,400 Cybertruck pickups in the U.S. because a faulty part could lead to a loss of power and increase the risk of a crash, in its sixth callback of Cybertrucks this year.

Earlier this year, Tesla recalled 2024 Cybertruck vehicles manufactured between Nov. 13, 2023, and Sept. 14, 2024 due to low voltage hardware that slowed the speed of the rearview camera and impaired drivers’ viewing capabilities. In June, the company also recalled nearly two million vehicles due to software problems.

Tesla Inc. recalled the Cybertruck a sixth time since the electric pickup launched a year ago, this time over an issue that could lead drivers to lose propulsion and have to pull over to the side of the road.
