TORONTO (AP) — Hannah Miller scored a power-play goal with 1:38 remaining in the game, lifting the Toronto Sceptres to a 3-1 victory over the Boston Fleet in the Professional Women’s Hockey League season opener on Saturday.

The Battle of Ontario was a rather one-sided affair favouring Ottawa in season 1 of the PWHL and it’s starting out that way as well in season 2. The Ottawa Charge rallied from a one-goal deficit with two goals in the third period to win the first matchup this season between the two Ontario combatants 3-2.

After captain Hilary Knight scored just three minutes into their season opener against the Toronto Sceptres, the Fleet struggled to get shots on net for the final 57 minutes.
