The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Philadelphia 76ers, 118-104, on Tuesday night as they continue their six-game road trip. On top of that, Lakers star Anthony Davis played just nine minutes after suffering an injury. On Wednesday, it was reported that Davis would be out for at least a week due to an abdominal strain.

JJ Redick, Lakers will start Jaxson Hayes against the Wizards with Anthony Davis out with an abdominal strain injury.

Hayes said he will start center in Thursday's game versus the Wizards, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. With Anthony Davis (abdomen) out for at least a week, Hayes will get the first opportunity to start at center in his absence.
