The Colorado Avalanche got back into the win column for the first time since the NHL's 4 Nations Face-Off tournament ended by beating the New Jersey Devils 5-1 Wednesday night in Denver. And the Avs' victory improved their record to 34-24-2.
The Colorado Avalanche are finally back home on Wednesday after most of the team got some much-needed rest during the Four Nations Faceoff break. Wednesday's game kicks off a six-game homestand, then the Avalanche will head back on the road on March 11th.
The Utah Hockey Club (27-24-9) carries a three-game win streak into tonight’s affair with the New Jersey Devils (32-22-6) at Delta Center. Utah has also won four straight at home and is now just two points behind the Vancouver Canucks for the eighth and final playoff position in the Western Conference.
