The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the Dallas Cowboys or Detroit Lions of Christmas Day.The NFL announced this week that three games will be held on Christmas Day during the 2025 season, which is up from two last year.

It's a possibility, according to a Wednesday morning report from Daniel Popper and Nate Taylor of The Athletic. Per Popper and Taylor, "when it comes to domestic standalone games, the Chiefs have requested that the NFL make them a fixture on Christmas Day, according to a league source."

The Chiefs want the NFL to hold a game on Christmas Day every year, with their team as the annual fixture for fans to watch on that day.
