The Atlanta Falcons must get down from 90 players to 53 by Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Recently acquired quarterback Ben DiNucci announced his release on Saturday.

Preseason is over, the regular season is closing in, and now the Atlanta Falcons have the unenviable task of cutting dozens of players. When it’s all over, a 90 man roster will be a 53 man roster, and then the Falcons will set about building a 16 (or 17, if Lenny Krieg is cut and clears waivers) man practice squad.
