Mumbai police are investigating the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique. They have issued a lookout circular against three suspects, including Shivkumar Gautam, Shubham Lonkar, and Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar,

Baba Siddique was murdered by shooters who had failed multiple times before. Mumbai Police arrested another accused in connection with the case.

Baba Siddique was shot dead in the Bandra area on Saturday night, causing a massive political storm in the state of Maharashtra which will go to Assembly polls next month.

Mumbai police suspended constable Shyam Sonawane for being the only officer present during Baba Siddique's assassination. Five more arrests were made, raising the total to nine. The Crime Branch conducted raids in Raigad district.

The five arrested individuals are alleged to have provided logistical support and firearms to those who eventually carried out the shooting.
