When Prince William showed off his new beard back in August, royal fans were taken aback. After all, the royals are known for their posh, proper and consistent looks, so a new scruffy beard was far from expected.

However, lip reader Kayleigh Harris also analyzed the moment for The Sun and claimed Kate responded to Sophie’s question by saying Prince William’s beard is “never quite rounded” (as opposed to “I find it quite rousing”). Harris also claimed that Sophie called it “a nice beard” and noted that “it’s a lot better now.”
