A person was struck and killed on I-25 near Gleneagle late Wednesday morning and police are telling motorists to expect heavy delays. All northbound lanes were closed as of 1 p.m. and only one southbound lane was open.

Eastbound Interstate 70 between Glenwood Springs and Blair Ranch and U.S. 50 between Garfield and Maysville have both reopened to traffic, according the Colorado Department of Transportation. The following roads remain closed: U.

The Colorado Department of Transportation said I-25 southbound was closed between Exit 158 at Baptist Road to Exit 156 at Northgate Boulevard, just north of Colorado Springs. CDOT said drivers should expect road delays due to the crash, and slower speeds were advised.
