Twelve people have been arrested in Serbia in connection with a roof collapse early this month at a train station in the northern city of Novi Sad that killed 15 people and severely injured two.

Deadly incident occurred after Novi Sad station was renovated, protesters blaming sloppy work led by corrupt officials.

Skirmishes have erupted for a second day in the northern Serbian city of Novi Sad between police and opposition protesters demanding arrests over a deadly roof collapse at the city’s railway station earlier this month.
