The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program is providing gifts to children in need this holiday season, with only 125 more sponsorships needed to meet their goal of serving 1,000 children.

The program allows people to help provide a Christmas meal to an Angel Tree family by purchasing a $25 Food Angel at checkout.

With the holiday season in full swing, one organization is helping to ensure no child is left without a gift. The Salvation Army Giving Tree program is spreading joy and hope to families in need.

The last day to help a child receive the Christmas they deserve through the Salvation Army Angel Tree is approaching.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The Salvation Army’s annual Angel Tree campaign has returned — and the need is greater now than ever. The Angel Tree is the organization’s largest campaign and aids over 1,800 families and seniors who are in crisis in the local area. Salvation Army provides gifts and clothes as well as Christmas breakfast and dinner.

Once again, the Salvation Army bells are ringing in the season of giving with calls for volunteers and Angel Tree adoptions.

Angels are available at Front Porch Grill in Millbrook, Newk’s Eatery at the corner of Vaughn Road and Taylor Road in Montgomery, and at The Weight Clinic in Prattville. You can pick up an angel, buy the gifts, and return them to that same location now through Dec. 13.

The Salvation Army Angel tree has tags with the name of a child and a present they would like for Christmas. People are encouraged to stop by and fulfill that wish.
