Xiaomi has finally announced the launch date for the Xiaomi 15 series. So here's everything you need to know about these flagship phones.

On stage at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii, the chipmaker introduced its newest silicon for premium phones, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Soon after, Xiaomi took the stage to declare that the first device to use this chip will be its own flagship Xiaomi 15, which is coming by the end of October.

Xiaomi has taken to Weibo today to confirm that its recently announced Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro phones will have a launch event in China on October 29th. These are the first devices that will launch with Snapdragon's latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was confirmed at the Snapdragon Summit this week.

The Xiaomi 15 series will likely make its debut next week, on October 28 or 29. The line-up will include the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro.

During the keynote, the SVP and president of Xiaomi, Adam Zeng, arrived on stage to discuss what consumers can expect in the future. The major highlight of Zeng's onstage presence was that the Xiaomi 15 series will feature Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Zeng states the phones will be "the first" devices to rock the new chip "globally."
