The Yankees, who snapped their six-game skid in the series finale, have six games remaining before the All-Star Game.

NEW YORK – The Queens edition of the Subway Series between the New York Mets and the New York Yankees included all the off-field gimmicks and silly jokes that were absent back in May when this matchup took place in the corporate setting of Yankee Stadium.

On Sunday afternoon, the Yankees won. The Mets lost. The result, however, didn’t do much to change the tenor of the weekend for either team. It was a positive three days for the Mets, and a concerning trip to Queens for the skidding Yankees.
