Liquidator Hilco Consumer-Retail announced the shuttering of 328 locations nationwide and the start of store-closing sales.

American Freight is part of Delaware-based Franchise Group Inc.’s holdings. The closure of the furniture and appliance chain is part of the company’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization plan announced earlier this month.

American Freight's stores are located across 41 states, with 31 in Texas. There are three stores in San Antonio, two in McAllen, and one in Austin and Corpus Christi each. Sales are advertised as 30% off furniture, appliances, and other merchandise. Discounts are valid both online and in stores. All sales are final.
