On Maui, speed tables are coming to Crater Road in Kahului. The state will place five speed tables between Mile Post 0.35 to 2 in an effort to reduce speeding.
Rep. Nick Kupper said he thought up the idea during a "long drive one day," recalling Montana's experience banning speed limits in the mid-1990s.
