Gophers volleyball will be playing in the NCAA Tournament for the 10th consecutive season and the 29th time in program history. Their opening round game will take place on Thursday against Western Kentucky.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — After winning its eighth straight SEC Championship, Kentucky volleyball earns a 3-seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Cats grab the 3-seed in the upper left region bracket where Pittsburgh earns the number one overall seed.

The Kentucky volleyball team appears to be peaking at the perfect time. Heading into the NCAA Tournament, the Cats are on an 11-match winning streak. UK has lost only three sets during that streak, and the Cats won their eighth consecutive Southeastern Conference championship.

UK volleyball (20-7) earned a 3-seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host Cleveland State in the first round Thursday at 7:30.

The WKU Volleyball team will be traveling to Lexington and facing Minnesota in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Kentucky will be hosting the first and second rounds of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament at Historical Memorial Coliseum this week. The cats were selected as the overall #3 seed in the tournament, and are set to host Cleveland State on Thursday at 7:30 pm.
