Mosquitos are annoying, and that's your job in this PlayStation 2 rerelease. You control a mosquito inside a house party, and you have to collect enough blood to survive the winter. But the owners know you're buzzing around and are out to swat you out of the air.

That's the concept behind The Plucky Squire, a new video game set inside - and outside - a storybook. The game follows title character Jot, and his quest to save the Land of Mojo from evil wizard Humgrump.

The first thing you are bound to say when playing The Plucky Squire is some version of, “Damn. This looks good.” That isn’t an understatement, as the art behind this delightful, multi-dimensional Zelda-like sure is gorgeous and nostalgic.
