Microsoft has discovered that certain Ubisoft games are crashing after users install the Windows 11 24H2 update. Affected games include well-known titles like Assassin’s Creed, Star Wars Outlaws, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Finally, the tech site also noticed that there’s a bug with Dell PCs with a certain app that means they won’t hibernate or shut down, a pretty major clanger it has to be said. This happens when Windows 11 24H2 is installed on a Dell machine with an older version of the Dell Encryption app, as confirmed by the laptop maker itself.

Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 11 version 24H2 is accidentally killing Ubisoft games such as Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and more. As reported by VGC, Microsoft updated its support website to reveal it has placed a temporary block on Windows 11 for users with those games installed.
