On the second night of a back-to-back, losing the first night in an overtime battle, and multiple guys playing through illness, this was not an easy win for the Mavericks. And it was Spencer Dinwiddie and Jaden Hardy making up for bad performances on Monday before Kyrie Irving took over in the 4th quarter to carry Dallas over the finish line.

Dereck Lively II was ruled out during the second half against the Hawks with an illness, the Mavericks announced. Lively had started Monday’s game, but didn’t return after the halftime break. Daniel Gafford started in his spot going into the second half.
