The next addition to DJI’s lineup of compact folding drones has been revealed in leaked images, videos, and FCC filings. The new DJI Flip, which has propeller guards similar to the DJI Neo, will have a folding design that resembles the HoverAir X1, according to a video shared by reliable leaker Jasper Ellens on X.

It looks as though DJI is working on a new folding drone which could be announced as early as the first quarter of next year. Images, videos, and FCC filings for the DJI Flip have recently leaked online.

The recent DJI Neo is predominantly an FPV (first-person view) drone, so that new model with its fresh design made sense. But the DJI Mini series, which the Flip appears to compete with, is already tiny and fits into the sub-250g weight class that gives pilots more flying freedom in some regions.
