Fake punt seals Penn State’s 26-25 win over Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS – Fourth-ranked Penn State survived a scare from double-digit underdog Minnesota and moved closer to a College Football Playoff berth with a 26-25 victory Saturday. The Nittany Lions (7-1, 10-1) overcame two blocked kicks to subdue the Golden Gophers (4-4, 6-5) at Huntington Bank Stadium.

With Penn State punting from the back of the end zone, Derik LeCaptain deflected the ball that died at the 21. The Gophers dialed up a double-reverse pass on the next play with a pitch to Darius Taylor, who tossed it to Jackson and back to Brosmer for a TD pass to tight end Jameson Geers with 1:03 left in the first half.
