The US Department of Justice's antitrust lawsuit against Google continues into its second week. YouTube CEO Neal Mohan testified that Google's actions

Filed in 2023, the lawsuit claims Google unfairly eliminated competition through acquisitions, consolidating its dominance in the ad tech space.

Neal Mohan had a long career on the ad team at Google, and the government had lots of questions about how he did business.

Another lawsuit against Google for possible antitrust practices is currently underway. The DOJ accuses it of, among other things, buying up potential competitors to get rid of threats in the market. They also say that Google is involved in all the main parts of the adtech stack.

Mohan's testimony kicked off the second week of a trial over the Justice Department's allegations that Google has a monopoly on the advertising technology market. Mohan, who joined Google as part of its acquisition of advertising software company DoubleClick in 2008,
